I vaguely recognize Jimmy Carr because his face pops up in a lot of comedy clips I see on Facebook and YouTube but I’ve never really looked into him. Apparently, he’s one of the more succesful UK comics going, though, and he’s coming to town as part of his third tour of Canada. Tickets go on sale Friday.

Quick one overall today:
CNC has a new support fund in honour of Elsie Osterberg. According to her obituary, “Elsie did everything from panning gold to running her own upholstery business. Helicopters were her upholstery passion (from full interiors to seat slips and blade covers). But her retirement passion was hand braided and sewn recycled fabric floor rugs. Although she lost count, there are a few hundred scattered around communities with family and friends,” and one of those is on display in the CNC library, now, too.
A symposium on housing is happening at the beginning of March.
The Two Rivers Art Gallery is looking for a new executive director.
The first ever Northern B.C. Toy Expo is coming this April.
A march for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls is happening Thursday.
So is a ceremony marking the one-year anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Yup, we have just a *little* bit of snow around @SprucelandTrad1 today. Check out one of our courtyards that is so beautifully blanketed! ❄️ Here’s hoping it’s warm enough tomorrow so we can actually enjoy it! @SD57PG
