It’s almost the weekend! The mosquitoes are here but it feels a lot more comfortably warm after a few days of rain. Enjoy it!

Starting out with a correction from yesterday’s newsletter, via Sarah Holland who writes:

Hi Andrew - the wording in the Citizen may have misled you, as Michael Pockett did not operate the Salted Cracker as a sole proprietorship. The civil claim shows that he had an incorporated numbered company, 0883033 BC Ltd, carrying on business under the firm name of the Salted Cracker. However, there were written indemnity agreements, where he signed as indemnitor, promising to pay the bills at any time that were due by the numbered company.

An important distinction, thank you!
